Gestro (“the App”) is a gallery application that enables users to transfer images from an Android device to a PC server using gesture-based controls. The App functions solely on a local Wi-Fi network, ensuring enhanced data privacy and security.

2. Information Collection and Use

Gestro requires a minimal set of permissions strictly necessary for its functionality. No personal data is collected, stored, or shared beyond what is essential for image transfer.

2.1 Data Collected

• Images: The App accesses image files on your Android device only to facilitate user-initiated transfers. These images are not stored, retained, or shared externally.
  
  

• Camera Access: Used solely for detecting gestures in real-time. No videos or images are recorded, stored, or transmitted.
  
  

• Local Network Access: Used to securely send images to a PC server on the same Wi-Fi network.
  
  

• Google Drive (PC Version Only): If the user enables this feature, the App uploads transferred images to their Google Drive using the Google Drive API with the drive.file scope.
  
  

  • The App can only upload files it creates.
    
    

  • It cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.
    
    

  • This integration is optional and user-controlled.
    
    

2.2 Sharing From Other Apps

When users share content to Gestro from other applications such as WhatsApp or any messaging or social app, Gestro can process and transfer various file types. However, for security reasons, Gestro does not send executable files (.exe) or Windows batch files (.bat).

Gestro restricts sharing primarily to images and other safe file types within the app. Any data sent through sharing from third-party apps is handled by those apps, and Gestro only transfers files explicitly shared and allowed by its security policy.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

• Gestro does not store any user data once the image transfer is completed.
  
  

• Transferred images are immediately deleted from the App's temporary memory.
  
  

• Users may revoke Google Drive access at any time via their Google Account security settings.
  
  

4. Third-Party Services

Gestro does not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The only external service integrated is the:

• Used exclusively for uploading transferred images to the user's Drive.
  
  

• Only the limited drive.file scope is requested.
  
  

• The App does not have access to read, delete, or alter existing Drive files.

5. User Control & Permissions

• Storage Access: Required to browse and select images for transfer.
  
  

• Camera Access: Required for gesture detection; no media is captured or saved.

• Gestro operates strictly on a local Wi-Fi network.

  Gestro operates transfers exclusively over the user’s local Wi-Fi network using HTTP protocol. While this design avoids using the internet or cloud services, the security of the local network is the sole responsibility of the user.
  The developer does not guarantee protection against unauthorized access, interception, or hacking that may occur on insecure or compromised local networks. Users are advised to ensure their Wi-Fi network is secure and properly configured

7.1 User Responsibilities

• The App uses free animations from LottieFiles under a free license.
  
  

• Users may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App without written permission.
  
  

7.3 Limitations of Liability

• Gestro is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  
  

• The developer is not responsible for any data loss, misuse, or device/network issues arising from use of the App.
  
  

• Users are responsible for securing their devices and local networks.
  
  

7.4 Termination of Service
